-Trump was nominated for his contribution to peace between Israel and the UAE as it is a unique deal.
-It is just the third Israel-Arab peace deal since Israel's declaration of Independence in 1948 and marks the first official diplomatic relationship between Israel and a Gulf Arab country.
-This is his 2nd nomination as he was nominated earlier in 2018 by the same person for the same prize then for his efforts to bring reconciliation to North and South Korea.
